“The french connection”
A large hall with high ceiling and oak floor is the scene for International Yacht Racing Union annual conference. Tall windows are covered with gray curtains, however some sun was allowed through and there was no feeling of darkness inside. Groups of the delegates are chatting along green-lined tables enjoying their coffee break. Suddenly the polish representative has been approached by skinny curly haired gentleman.
- Would you mind if I have proposal for you – he asked with distinct french accent.
- Maybe we should go for a walk. –answer the polish delegate.
A minute later they where wandering through nearby garden.
-I’d like to get you interested with the 505 class. We want to compete with Flying Dutchman for Olympic Class status.
- But we don’t know these boats. Why shall we vote in favor of them? – answered delegate.
- Lets say we provide five complete boats as gift to start a fleet in Poland. And now please take this file with lines plan, boat registry and class rules. At the end of the file you’ll find some photos of the 505. We have 650 boats already sailing!
